Tasting: Bordeaux - Incredible 2020 vintage, Tues 11th June

As the temperature starts to drop, Bordeaux season approaches! We are not far from starting the En Primeur Campaign for the 2023 Bordeaux wines (resting in barrel for delivery 2026). It looks like we may see some significant discounts this year...

So we thought this would be the perfect time to revisit the 2020 vintage, one of the all-time greats in the region. A legendary modern classic that formed the end of an incredible trilogy comprising 2018, 2019, and 2020. This is the first time in Bordeaux's long history that we have ever seen three truly exceptional vintages back to back.

We have gathered together 8 fabulous wines to taste from both sides of the Gironde. These will showcase just how both Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon really excelled this year, with stunning wines produced in every appellation and at all price points. From humble appellations through to those like Pauillac, home to Chateau Pontet-Canet, one of the finest wines in the world. This event will sell fast so don't miss out!
