Hot Reds From The Med

In 2015 the Mediterranean was lovely and hot, so Europe’s oldest wine regions once again made fully rich, ripe and satisfying reds. From Cotes du Rhone that empties glasses with delicious speed, to $20 offerings from Spain and Portugal so concentrated and powerful you’d think they were twice the price (OK Portugal isn’t Mediterranean, but the effect is the same).

Mid and upper level wines from the Med in 2015 are not yet here – for now it’s only the entry level. But these cheapies are so good they may endanger our premium sales. Get in quick – our staff are depleting the stocks!
