Mixed 6+ pricing

The prices displayed most prominently on products are usually ‘mixed 6+’ price (commonly known as ‘case’ price). This ‘mixed 6+’ price is approximately 10% less than the full ‘per bottle’ price, though some products may vary slightly.

To automatically receive ‘mixed 6+’ pricing you must have 6 or more bottles in your cart. A purchase of less than 6 bottles can also receive mixed 6+ pricing if the total value in the cart reaches $300 or more.

‘Per bottle’ price is the full or ‘shelf’ price (i.e. what you would be charged for a single bottle purchase in-store). Your cart will charge ‘per bottle’ prices unless you meet the terms for mixed 6+ pricing.

Delivery Cost

We deliver nationwide within New Zealand and also into Australia. What does it cost for delivery… not a lot, and the prices are listed below.

Auckland:   $8.99 per case of 12 or less
Waiheke Island:   $17.99 per case of 12 or less (delivered to your door)
North Island:   $11.99 per case of 12 or less
South Island:   $14.99 per case of 12 or less
Rural Delivery surcharge:   $9 per case if our couriers need to break out the sat nav

Who will deliver your wine?

We have some good trustworthy friends at PBT Couriers who will hand deliver your fantastic wine to your door, even if you’re in the wop-wops. Sometimes we may even deliver it ourselves, so you might see John or Richard’s face or one of our friendly and knowledgable staff.

What days are deliveries made?

We deliver Monday to Friday throughout the year. As soon as you’ve placed your order we get onto preparing it for dispatch so we can get it into your hands for your enjoyment.

How swiftly do I get my wine?

For all orders placed before 3pm on any given weekday, we will dispatch your order the same day. Here’s when you can expect your wine, once the order has been dispatched (pending the wine being in stock):

Auckland:  1-2 working days
North Island:  1-2 working days
South Island:  2-3 working days
Waiheke Island:  1-2 working days

Yes, we make our wine deals available to the whole of New Zealand.

What if I’m not in when my wine is delivered?

Our friends down at PBT Couriers will leave you a card to say they called. Your wine can be collected from the courier depot or you can arrange for a new time for it to be delivered to you. If you choose to have your wine left at a specific place (using the comments box when ordering online) the wine will not be insured once it is left by the courier.

Can I collect my order?

Yes of course. We always enjoy seeing you in our store in Parnell or Grey Lynn. We’re available for any questions you have about the best deals or what’s happening in the world of wine. You might even discover some varieties or vintages that you’d never thought to try before.

Can I have my wine shipped overseas?

Yes, we deliver to Australia fairly regularly and can provide you with a quote on request. For any other delivery locations, give us a call and we can talk you through the logistics and the cost.
