2024 was an unmatched growing season. This warm, dry, and historic vintage yielded very small berries providing great concentration, and producing wines of exceptional purity, power, tension and persistence.
This showcase release is led by New Zealand's greatest red wine, Te Mata Coleraine. Internationally recognised since its first production in 1982, the 2024 is total apex cabernet, a singular wine that could only result from a remarkable vintage. Coleraine ’24 stands alone this year with an incredible 100/100 score – a wine of unique provenance even by Te Mata Estate’s exacting standards.
The Bullnose, Alma, Awatea, Elston and Cape Crest are also some of the finest examples ever produced here, and all icons of New Zealand wine in their categories.
