Priced to clear- this Drappier is a classy and full-flavoured Champagne that is well worth a try. Like our favourite boutique label Fallet Dart, they are also still family owned. The classic white Champagne from the Drappier house is mainly composed of carefully grown, gently handled Pinot Noir fruit. What The Critics Say

92/100 James Suckling

"Attractive aromas of white peach, dried orange, blanched almond and brioche with subtle hints of dried raspberries and crushed stones. Medium- to full-bodied palate with a creamy texture and delicate mousse. Long and even. A blend of 80% pinot noir, 15% chardonnay and 5% pinot meunier. Dosage 6.5g/L. Drink now or hold."

92/100 Falstaff

"Light yellow gold with silver reflections. Ripe yellow pear fruit, some mango and blossom honey, white nougat and a hint of candied orange zest on the nose. The palate is juicy, with a sweet fruit core of pineapple and mango backed by the fine acidity. It's fresh and lemony on the finish, with a mineral aftertaste, a versatile bottle. (PM)."

91/100 The Wine Front, Campbell Mattinson

"This wine is mostly made with pinot noir, which gives it lots of energy and perfume on the nose – it’s like sticking your nose in a pie of glazed fruits. It’s got nutty, aldehydic perfumes too, and when you take it in your mouth it’s soft and stylish, draped in lees and brine and chalk, and easy through the finish. It is high class."
