Kozue Japanese Craft Gin
Richard Caro
In stock
A superb gin from a boutique producer in the Wakayama province of Japan. The special flavour in this gorgeous bottling derives from the kōyamaki or Japanese umbrella pine tree. The word "kozue" refers to the treetop or the tip of a branch -- from which the distinctive umbrella-shaped pine needles are sourced for infusion with the Japanese pepper and more conventional citrus ingredients. Delicious and different, the Kozue is an in-house favourite.

What The Critics Say
Gold medal winner at the Lyon Spirits Competition.
"Presents a delicate balance of floral pine, wild berry and sansho pepper notes on the nose, while the koyamaki pine provides a clean finish."
