2024 Mount Edward Central Otago Pinot Blanc

"This Pinot Blanc is grown at our Morrison vineyard, Hand harvested in April, the grapes were whole bunch pressed, fermented at cool temperatures using a mixture of wild and introduced yeasts, fined before filtration and bottling end sept. Pear, spice and citrus aromas are followed by flavours of stonefruit with a medium weight texture, underpinned by mineral notes and bright acidity. This wine is dry with some fruit sweetness apparent, a lighter style of Pinot Blanc that is all about enjoyment, drinking now, at lunch, as an aperitif or whenever …. get some."

"Juicy, slippery, bright. Stone fruit, just ripe, some creamy-vanilla-nutty stuff happening, good intensity, good concentration, more than you expect. A lovely, flavoursome mouthful of white wine with refreshment factor up but so too fruit and general everything. You’d call it a medium bodied white. And done well."
