What The Critics Say
95/100 Cameron Douglas MS
"A captivating bouquet, precise and new, fresh and varietal, complex and detailed, subtle and intriguing. Aromas and flavours of fresh red cherry flesh and soil-smoke of stony clay, then lees and layers of wood spice and roses. As the wine opens out on the palate so too so the flavours of fruit and mineral, a sense of site and reflection of vintage. Excellent structure - tannins are polished, fine and in abundance, acidity carries flavours and tension. A lovely wine, very youthful and will develop slowly if you decide to cellar." 5 stars and "Excellent" in NZ Wine Rater (2021 vintage)
“Alluring, fragrant, fruit-saturated nose with vibrant aromas of damson plum conserve, strawberry, African violets, confectionery and cloves. Soft and lush on the palate with delicate red fruit flavours a smattering of spice and long, well-structured tannins. A very appealing wine.”
