2012 Tietjen Witters Estatel Gisborne Chardonnay

$17.99

2013 Neudorf Maggies Block Pinot Gris

$26.99

2012 Crossroads Winemakers Collection Hawkes Bay Chardonnay

A distributor clearance deal on Crossroads top chardonnay. Normal RRP is $40! Gold at the Spiegelau International Wine Show. "The 2012 vintage (4*) was grown in the Kereru Vineyard, 25 kilometres inland, on the banks of the Ngaruroro River, hand-picked, and fermented and matured for nine months in French oak barriques. Fragrant, with slight 'gunflint' aromas and youthful grapefruit, peach and subtle oak flavours, it is mouthfilling, with excellent delicacy, complexity and harmony. Best drinking 2015+." Michael Cooper.

$25.99

2012 Jadot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru La Garenne

"The 2012 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos la Garenne comes from 90-year-old vines that are naturally low yielding. It offers a beguiling bouquet with hints of cold stone and yellow flowers all delicately placed. The palate is medium-bodied with a less viscous opening than Jadot-s other Puligny premier crus. This is more sedate but no less attractive with a harmonious, lightly peppered finish that lingers long in the mouth. Excellent once more!" 92-94 Neal Martin, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

$105.00

2012 Jadot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Folatieres

"The 2012 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatieres comes from vines on the upper reaches of the climat, just 50-meters from Chevalier-Montrachet. It has a very refined bouquet with subtle mineral scents, smoke and some pressed flowers. The palate is well-balanced with a fine line of acidity that neatly counterbalances the rounded, rich, lightly honeyed fruit, leaving the finish voluminous and satisfying. Excellent." 91-93 Neal Martin, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

$125.00

2013 Mount Edward Central Otago Chardonnay

$24.99

2011 Jadot Meursault "Perrieres"

"While this shares some aromatic elements of the Genevrières this is notably more floral and displays added breadth in the form of citrus zest, mineral reduction and pain grillé. There is excellent volume and very fine detail to the intensely stony medium-bodied flavors that deliver impressive depth "90-92 Burghound "Bright, light yellow. Classic Perrieres nose combines lemon, orange blossom, minerals and wet stone. Round, ripe and broad, displaying lovely intensity and inner-mouth perfume to its mineral-rich flavors of citrus fruits, white flowers, vanilla and toasted bread. Harmonious and very long. A superb showing"92 Tanzer

$130.00

2011 Jadot Chassagne Montrachet "Morgeot Clos de la Chapelle

"This is also notably ripe with aromas of dried yellow orchard fruit and hints of the exotic along with soft floral nuances. There is noticeable wood on the opulent and exceptionally rich and solidly well-concentrated flavors that possess good muscle on the palate coating finish. This offers plenty of character" 88-91 Burghound "Bright lemon-yellow. Complex aromas of citrus peel, pear, minerals and anise. Juicy, brisk and penetrating, with lovely inner-mouth floral character to the delineated fruit and mineral flavors. Finishes with very good sneaky length and a firm citrus spine that calls for four or five years of cellaring. Pungent and backward for this bottling. "92 Tanzer

$105.00

2011 Jadot Corton Charlemagne

"Like the Montrachet, this is also presently quite aromatically reticent with its aromas of lemon/lime, wet stone and Granny Smith apples that are trimmed in a subtle application of warm oak. The equally expansive, taut and well-muscled broad-shouldered flavors possess an ample amount of dry extract and intensity on the driving finish that exhibits a faint saline character. I very much like the intensity here as well as the very dry backend and this should be superb if allowed adequate cellar time."92-95 Burghound "Pale lemon-yellow. Pungent aromas of pineapple, lavender, white pepper, stone and menthol. Dense, supple and sweet but with terrific stony cut to its citrus, pineapple and fresh herb flavors. Penetrating but not at all hard. The very firmly structured finish shows excellent limey persistence and lift. "94+ Tanzer

$180.00

2010 Ashwood Gisborne Pinot Gris

An absolute steal now at the new low price of $14.99. Made by Nick Nobilo at Vinoptima this was $29. One of those big, textural Alsace styles of Pinot Gris that people continually ask us for but we hardly ever find in this price category. "Plump, peachy wine with a lovely creamy texture. Characterful wine with lovely intense tree fruit flavours and a lingering finish. Classy Pinot Gris in a truly Alsace-like style." Bob Campbell. Way undervalued for the quality this delivers.
