Welcome

Pinots for $20-Something

Pinot Noir at $20ish can really disappoint – unless you get the right ones! We always have good stuff but the range is hot at the moment.

Shaky Bridge 2016 came in so dark, soft and hedonistic in 2016 that we can’t believe the price, while the Resolute from Ara is a complex premium wine discounted to sell-out. Also real and distinctive is the new white label Pinot from Boneline, likewise the seriously boutique Rocky Point from Prophet’s Rock, while Martinborough’s Te Tera is yet again a stunning, complete and layered wine with only a touch less depth than their serious $60 estate Pinot.

Think there’s no such thing as decent sub-$30 Pinot? Think again.
