2018 Thomas Goss McLaren Vale Merlot
Grape
Merlot
Its Origins
One of McLaren Vale’s original pioneers, Thomas Goss (1810-1890), arrived in South Australia from Devonshire in 1849. In 1854, after success in the Victorian gold fields, Goss established an iconic farming property, ‘Ingleburne’, which is now home to our cellar door. The Thomas Goss range of wines are a tribute to Thomas Goss and his family.
What The Critics Say
93/100 Wine Orbit, Sam Kim
"Richly fruited and inviting, the bouquet shows dark berry, vanilla, roasted nut and mixed spice aromas, leading to a supple palate that's richly textured and lingering. The wine offers excellent power and persistency backed by polished tannins, making it delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2030. AU$17.00. www.pennyshill.com.au. Feb 2021." Drink 2021 - 2030
