80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc
Château Tour Saint Christophe was acquired by Peter Kwok and his daughter Karen in 2012. The property islocated on the apppellation of Saint-Emilion situated at the limit between the two villages of Saint- Émilion and Saint Christophe des Bardes. Today the estate adds 20 hectares. The Château overlooks beautiful dry stone terraces several hundred years old on a chalky-clay terroir. Aware of the richness of the legacy of the past and to preserve it, we undertook to restore Château Tour Saint Christophe. The objective was to revive our vineyard terraces with the disassembling and the reconstruction of this dry stone equip- ment asit had been builtin the 18th century. About1.5 km of dry-stone terraces have been renovated by re-shaping each stone by hand.
What The Critics Say
93-94 James Suckling
"Dense and layered red with dark berry, volcanic ash and white pepper. Full-bodied, layered and chewy. Muscular."

"Caliginous in color, the wine is full bodied, concentrated, intense, fortified and satisfying. There is good flesh, freshness and length. Limber with crispy red fruits, cocoa, espresso, licorice and a boundless finish, the wine is made from blending 80% Merlot with 20% Cabernet Franc. The wine reached 14.3% alcohol."
91-94 /100 Vinous, Antonio Galloni
"The 2017 Tour Saint Christophe is another in a series of brilliant wines from proprietor Peter Kwok and consultant Michel Rolland. The 20% Cabernet Franc adds striking brightness to play off the dense, dark Merlot in this plush, beautifully nuanced Saint-Émilion. Already impeccably balanced, the 2017 appears to have a very promising future. Mocha, espresso, wild flowers and mint add the closing shades of nuance. Tasted three times."
