World-beating value for a crazy price -- do not miss this offer! This "highly textured" Chardy is a multiple gong-winner and won't be hanging around! The "O" label Chardonnay from the Letter Series has always been a seriously good wine from Brancott Estate. But the 2017 just took out an amazing Platinum Award from Decanter, where it scored 98/100 and was rated alongside expensive Burgundies and Aussie legends such as the incredible Vasse Felix Heystebury Chardonnay (which costs $85). Yes, you heard right! All this was on the back of so many other trophies and gold medals that its not only boring to talk about, but if you tried to read them all you might be losing your chance to secure a case or two of this stunner. Its Origins

Since planting the first Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir in 1975, Brancott Estate (formerly Montana) has continued craft striking wines to suit every occasion, including naturally lower alcohol, sparkling, organic, oak-infused and age-worthy expressions of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. In addition they have led the revival of Sauvignon Gris, an almost extinct varietal now enjoying a global resurgence. This relentless desire to capture the bright, fresh flavour of Marlborough has seen Brancott Estate wines enjoyed in more than 50 countries around the world.

What The Critics Say

Three Trophies including Top White Wine and Runner Up to Best Wine In Show, Sydney International Wine Show 2019

James Halliday, judge: “Smoky oak, some biscuit, hot buttered toast on the nose. Lots of complexity on the palate, lees and quality oak, a powerful and long finish”. Andrea Pritzker, judge: “Intense bouquet of pop-corn, struck-match, charred wood and toast. Rich and full bodied with excellent power and concentration and generous oak-derived flavour and complexity. A richly oaked, full bodied style. The richness of the wine proved to be a good match with the rich flavours of the duck dish. Although the oaky notes were accentuated they added complexity and harmony to the overall experience.”

Trophy for Champion 2017 Chardonnay, Marlbough Wine Show 2018
4.5 Stars Michael Cooper

"Named after the company's Omaka Vineyard, this typically powerful, full-flavoured wine is hand-picked at sites on the south side of the Wairau Valley, fermented with indigenous yeasts in French oak barriques (about 40 per cent new), and given a full, softening malolactic fermentation. The 2017 vintage (4.5*) is bright, light lemon/green, with a fragrant, slightly smoky bouquet. Mouthfilling, it has rich grapefruit and peach flavours, showing good complexity, finely integrated oak, and a smooth, very harmonious finish."
