Its Origins

Hecht & Bannier is a négociant-éleveur company, a joint venture founded and run by Grégory Hecht and François Bannier, who are based in Bouzigues on the north shore of the Bassin de Thau. Having met at Dijon University in 1993, they decided to join forces to buy, assemble and age complementary wines from the very best growers in selected Languedoc-Roussillon appellation areas to create fine wines that are truly expressive of the terroirs chosen. Increasingly journalistic recognition are at testament to the quality of Hecht & Bannier. The Hecht et Bannier Languedoc is produced with grapes certified organic by Ecocert FR-BIO-01, this wine is 100% matured in concrete tank to preserve its fresh, fruity aromas and flavors on the palate. Grapes are sourced from the village of Saint Chinian, Terrasses du Larzac in Languedoc and Vallée de l’Agly in Roussillon.

What The Critics Say

Vinous, Josh Raynolds

"Vivid orange-pink. Sharply focused red berry and floral scents are complemented by hints of succulent herbs and white pepper. Shows good energy and lift on the palate, offering bitter cherry and red currant flavors and a touch of orange pith. Closes dry and taut, displaying good cling and a hint of tarragon." Drink 2017 - 2020

Wine Enthusiast (2015 vintage)

"This is a clean and vibrant rosé, with upfront notes of lavender, menthol and bay that frame red cherry and berry tones. The palate is fleshy and fruit-forward, with bold flavors of peach and strawberry that transition seamlessly into the citrus-zest finish."
