A delicious blend of Pinot Gris, Viognier and Gewurztraminer. Just off dry, it is not too sweet but all about texture and aromatic nuance. Co-fermented aromatic blends like this are rarely seen in NZ, but the few on the market are popular with those in the know and quick to sell out. Give it a go.

Pinot Gris, Viognier, Gewurztraminer

Its Origins

Reydan and Roger Weiss first fell in love with the beauty of Te Awanga when visiting from Germany in 2001. Together they envisaged owning a state-of-the-art winery, merging the traditional values of wine making with an innovative approach and contemporary style to produce exceptional wines to savour and enjoy. With the majestic elephant as their namesake and nestled against a backdrop of rolling hillsides, Elephant Hill spans over 25 hectares of vineyards producing classical, aromatics whites and world-class reds, helmed by winemaker Steve Skinner.
