What The Critics Say
18/20 Raymond Chan
(2014)"Nose of dark cherry and berry fruit infused with thyme herbs, unfolding violetty and black florals, and spicy raspberry notes. Medium-bodied, the palate features a tightly concentrated core of dark red cherry and berry fruits. Layers of herbs and liquorice unfold, adding detail and interest to the fruit sweetness. The textures and acidity carry the wine to a long, lingering finish of raspberry fruit nuanced by bitter cherry fruit and a hint of minerally reduction. This is a tightly held and elegant Pinot Noir with concentrated fruit and a fine, firm line. Match with duck, pork and lamb dishes over the next 4-5+ years."
