Approximately 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc
Claude Guimberteau's family have run Château La Croix Blanche for five generations. The vineyard is 14 hectares and the age of the wines are 35 years old, with about 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. The soil is clay and deep limestone. The wine is then aged in a 110 liter French oak for 12 to 13 months.
