We have a very limited amount of this stunning wine which is only made in special vintages from a single steep sided, hillside vineyard under biodynamic practices. The vine age is now approaching 20 years old. It is one of only eight NZ Chardonnays that Michael Copper rates as his 'Super Classic" ( alongside Ata Rangi,Clearview Reserve, Kumeu River Estate and Mates, Neudorf Moutere, Sacred Hill Riflemans and Te Mata Elston )

Warm, vinous aromas of white peach and pear with a tang of lemon curd and a hint of musk; the wine has a fleshy mouth-feel, the hint of creaminess adding subtle complexity. A glass of Gisborne Sunshine!

Floral and fleshy. Intensely aromatic, with ripe-fruit characters of apricots and musk, excellent flavour concentration, a sliver of sweetness and a deliciously oily, creamy texture.”

Great riesling buying from one of N.Z's best. "Typically fine scented, with rich, lemony, often honeyed flavours, this is the country's northernmost fine quality riesling. Grown in Gisborne ( some of the vines are 24 years old , it is gently sweet, in a softer, typically less racy style than the classic Marlborough wines. The grapes are grown organically in the Opou vineyard at Manutuke and are hand-harvested."

Definitely one of NZ best viogniers'. From the steep sided biodynamic hillside vineyard called Les Arbes. "An organic Gisborne wine of arresting richness and complexity." M.Cooper. Made from hand picked fruit using indigenous yeasts and fermented in 600 litre barrels "Rich, unctuous wine with a velvet texture and plenty of weight. It's bone dry with classic apricot, floral and spice flavours. Very impressive wine in truly varietal style with underlying complexity from barrel and yeast lees work. Complex and very stylish, it has the "X" factor." 93/100 Bob Campbell
