We have a very limited amount of this stunning wine which is only made in special vintages from a single steep sided, hillside vineyard under biodynamic practices. The vine age is now approaching 20 years old.

Normally $20. "The 2008 harvest was excellent, producing ripe grapes and full flavours. Drawn in by the warmth of aromas of white peach, pear and dried figs, a seam of lime zest runs through the vibrant palate; the wine retains a freshness with a hint of creaminess adding subtle complexity. The alluvial soils are reflected in the wet-stone minerality of the finish. Extremely good value and organically grown.

Great riesling buying from one of N.Z's best. "Typically fine scented, with rich, lemony, often honeyed flavours, this is the country's northernmost fine quality riesling. Grown in Gisborne ( some of the vines are 24 years old , it is gently sweet, in a softer, typically less racy style than the classic Marlborough wines. The grapes are grown organically in the Opou vineyard at Manutuke and are hand-harvested."

From the steep sided hillside biodynamic vineyard called Naboth's. The viognier is planted on bony ground beside a forest where it stands for a time in shadow. "This is the most powerful New Zealand white wine I've tasted this year, thanks to James and Annie Millton's exacting standards in the vineyard, the winery and in their biodynamic philosophy. This is outstanding and sets a new standard for Kiwi white wine and viognier outside of its homeland, France". Joelle Thomson
"An intense and complex Viognier with attractive barrel-fermentation characters and oak influence making it remarkably Condrieu-like. Silken-textured with good mouthfeel. Impressive Viognier". 95/100 Bob Campbell
