We have followed this small winery for a number of years and they produce outstanding value pinot noir. The grapes are hand-picked single vineyard with100% destemmed prior to batch pre-fermentation in open-top tanks. Hand plunged until fermentation was complete. Settled in stainless tanks prior to malolactic fermentation and aging in French oak barrels for 10 months. "Bold and beautiful, engaging with powerful aromas of dark plum, cherry and game. It's superbly weighted and dense on the palate with a lingering dry finish." Air NZ Judges
