The Farnatella wines have improved quite a bit since I first started tasting them a few years ago. At their best, the entry-level wines can offer excellent value.
"The 2007 Chianti Colli Senesi is a pretty, floral wine with nice freshness to its fruit and an attractive, soft-textured personality. The higher altitude vineyards at Farnatella combined with the increased presence of sand in the vineyards yield perfumed, mid-weight wines. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012." Parker
