Normally $31- the distributor is no longer bringing Fox Creek into New Zealand so they have bowled out the last of this superlative shiraz. "Fox Creek has made a major impact since coming on stream late in 1995. It is the venture of a group of distinguished Adelaide doctors, with particular input from the Watts family, which established the vineyard back in 1985." James Halliday. The Short Row Shiraz is from a particular block of vines in one corner of their vineyard that have been singled out for their excellent fruit quality. " Silky, ripe and seductive for its polished tannins and creamy oak notes adding sweetness and depth to the rich blackberry, currant and white pepper flavors. Lovely stuff, but it can get better.
