This has to be one of the best value Chateauneufs we have ever brought in and its from the classic 2009 vintage."Ruby-red. High-pitched aromas of redcurrant and cherry are complicated by spice and herbal nuances. Lively and precise, offering energetic red fruit flavors and a touch of musky sassafras. Dusty tannins add grip to a spicy, refreshingly brisk finish. There's a pinot-like quality here that reminds me of a good 2008" S.Tanzer
