Made from 70% Shiraz (105- to 115-year-old vines) and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon (60- to 90-year-old vines), was cropped at a minuscule .5 to 1 ton of fruit per acre, and spent 15 months in French oak prior to bottling." A Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon blend, the 2010 Anaperenna has a deep purple-black color and aromas of warm black cherry compote and creme de cassis over hints of smoked meat, earth, Indian spices, truffles and damp loam. Rich and opulent on the full bodied palate, the generous fruit is well supported by a medium to firm level of fine tannins and refreshing acid, finishing long and earthy. Still youthful and a little taut, it should drink best 2014 to 2022+." 93+/100 Parkers Wine Advocate
