Craggy Range Vineyards, Gisborne & Hawkes Bay, New Zealand
This just received a massive score from Bob Campbell ( it was called Block 14 last year ) who remarks on its terrific value and capability of cellaring which is unusal for a wine of this price. It goes to show the fantastic job that Craggy Range do with this variety. "Dense dark berry fruit, dark chocolate, cracked black pepper and a hint of wildflowers. This is great Syrah at a very reasonable price. Delicious now but will cellar for up to a decade. 93/100 Bob Campbell
