Possibly the rarest noble grape variety in Italy. Rescued fom obscurity in Umbria about 30 years ago this is a truely outstanding wine that can compare with the more famous names of Tuscany.From 100% Sagrantino. We only have a tasting note on the 2001 wine but 2004 was also a superb vintage in this region. "This estate, sparked by the inspired winemaking of Lorenzo Landi, is the most serious competitor to Arnaldo Caprai in the Montefalco Sagrantino appellation.
