Halliday writes "Frank Mitolo began making wine in 1995 as a hobby, and soon progressed to undertaking formal studies in winemaking. His interest grew year by year, and in 2000 he took the plunge into the commercial end of the business, retaining Ben Glaetzer to make the wines. Since that time, a remarkably good series of wines has been released. The 2008 Jester Shiraz ( 94/100 ) has deep colour; very true to its terroir, but with a commendable juicy edge to its black fruit and dark chocolate core which adds suppleness to the back-palate and finish.
