"Ben Glaetzer is the man behind these awesome wines. Every vintage has scored over 95 points or over from Robert Parker- A remarkable track record and one that shows phenomenal consistency of quality. Vineyard yields are a miserly 1 Tonne per Hectare with average vine age 50-130 years old. "Produced from 100% Shiraz, the 2010 Amon-Ra displays a deep purple-black color and aromas of cedar, baking spices, lavender, chocolate and vanilla over a core of creme de cassis, black cherry pie and dried plums. Very full bodied and densely packed with layered warm berry, earth and spice flavors, it has a solid backbone of medium to firm fine grained tannins and crisp acid, finishing long with some hints of dried Provence herbs and black pepper coming through. Consider drinking it 2014 to 2024+." 95+/100 Parkers Wine Advocate
