Blue-Gold Award and Top 100 status at the Sydney International Wine Competition 2010 ang Gold at the Liquorland Top 100. Impressive results for a pinot noir at this price but its understandable when Craggy Range make this Martinborough pinot noir. The name 'Strugglers Flat' was given to the flat infertile land at the bottom of the more fertile hills and were given to the returning serviceman from the war. They had the last laugh however as this is perfect land for growing grapes. "It is bright ruby, mouthfilling and sweet fruited, with cherryish, slightly nutty flavours, finely blanced and smooth." M.Cooper. Good value pinot.
