Delicious, silky and soft this Monastrell ( Mourvedre ) is made by one of Yecla's leading producers, Castillo del Baron. Yecla sits on a high desert plateau above the Mediterranean coast of Spain , a short drive from Alicante and Valencia. Here the harsh climate yields small bunches of beautiful, clean ripe fruit.
