93/100 from Bob Campbell and with new packaging, new owners and a new winemaker ( Nick Brown who is the hot young gun in Waipara and has done many vintages around the globe ) but from the same 19 year old Waipara pinot vines. "This is big, rich and plummy. The generous fruit is restrained by fine tannins that just prevent it from being labelled a fruit bomb. It has a velvet texture with dark fruits, anise and licorice flavours. A heroic pinot noir with good development potential." Bob Campbell.
