Mainly Sangiovese from this organically farmed estate in the Rufina sub zone in Tuscany. A lovely summer red wine. This estate makes some of the best modern chiantis in the region. Maceration in stainless steel 8-12 days, followed by fermentation in concrete vats. 50% of the wine is aged in French barriques (225 liters) for
10 months. Made with huge attention to detail, this bright, vibrant, sweet-fruited Chianti is unbeatable value.
