The competition is huge, with entries from all over the world with such wines as the 2006 Grange coming in 5th and Chapoutier L'Ermite Hermitage also at $600 not in the Top 10 so this is no two bit show. Rated 95/100 from Halliday who writes "Purple-crimson; a complex bouquet with fragrant blackberry, plum and licorice aromas and flavours; the medium-bodied palate has very good texture and structure.
