Beautiful chardonnay from a superb Burgundy producer. The St Veran appellation is the most southerly appellation of Burgundy where the climate is slightly warmer than most of Burgundy, due to its southerly location hence a more full bodied style of chardonnay is produced. "This displays some residual fermentation aromas trimmed in a gentle touch of wood that complements the nicely rich and full flavors that culminate in a racy and stony finish that is wrapped around a moderately firm acid spine that confers focus and balance onto the notably dry finale" Burghound.
