"I have said this many times but it is worth repeating: Daniel Barraud is without question one of the finest growers in all of the Maconnais and there is a credible arguement to be made that his remarkable consistency vaults him right to the very top of the list. This man almost never misses. A slightly riper nose that is also quite pure features yellow and white orchard fruit cut with lemon zest notes that are picked up by the rich and round but beautifully detailed flavors that evidence an obvious stoniness on the stunningly long finish.
